Patrick McMurray

Patrick got amazed by the world of restaurant trade by the age of 16, and focused on it passionately ever since. He won The Guinness Book of World records of oyster shucking at a record of 33 oysters in one minute, and lately, 38 in one minute. Now Patrick owns two successful restaurants in Toronto - Starfish Oyster Bed & Grill and the Ceili Cottage.

Michael Blackie
Born in Leicestershire, England and raised in Montreal, QC, Chef Michael Blackie has been cooking for almost 25 years on three continents. Having worked his way up through some of the best kitchens in Toronto, Michael was very fortunate to apprentice at the Windsor Arms Hotel. Most recently, Chef Blackie held the Executive Chef position at Brookstreet in Ottawa where, after just three months under his leadership, the hotel’s flagship restaurant Perspectives was awarded the prestigious four diamond rating from CAA.

David Brode
David Brode is by no means your average chef. David has visited over 70 of the best wineries in Europe to expand his knowledge, palate, and understanding. This trip was followed by a culinary journey through China and South East Asia trying as many different regional cuisines as possible, and immersing in the culture. Now David is the chef partner in this exciting new venture – Osteria and ready for blow all the guests away with his unexpected talent and endless passion.
