Shanghai Min continues expanding its nostalgic concept taking diners back in time to 1950s Shanghai with making its debut in Macau, mark its grand opening of its first branch at City of Dreams.

The new venue extends the group’s stable of nine restaurants in Hong Kong to ‘Asia’s Las Vegas’, Macau.

Since founded in 1987in Shanghai as a small eatery of just four tables, Shanghai Min is one of very few full service Chinese restaurant brands to branch out internationally.

With a grand entrance, glittering chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling glass windows, Shanghai Min Macau is one of the group’s largest restaurants to date – seating 372 over 17,600 sq. ft. spanning two levels, including five private dining rooms.

Despite the vibrant location, Shanghai Min Macau continues its brand’s winning interior design formula of homely nostalgic décor twinning classic art deco design of old Shanghai with contemporary Chinese glamour.

The new outlet extends Shanghai Min’s philosophy of classic Shanghainese delicacies created by master chefs that has popularised the brand to an international icon with branches across China and Hong Kong.

Shanghainese master chefs use freshest, high quality ingredients to produce exquisite classic Shanghai dishes with an evolving menu at affordable prices.

Shanghai Min Macau is set to become one of Macau’s premier venues for traditional Shanghai cuisine.
